Association of Judges of Slovakia (ZSS)

is a professional organization that brings together Slovak judges with the aim of promoting the principles of independence, justice and ethics in the judicial system. Our mission is to protect the professional values and rights of judges, as well as to actively contribute to the transparency and efficiency of the judicial system in Slovakia.

ZSS represents the interests of judges

in relation to state bodies and international institutions and cooperates in the creation of legislation that improves the position and working conditions of judges. Our vision is to build public trust in the judiciary through ethical standards and highly professional judicial performance.

Our values

Independence: We are determined to protect the independence of the judiciary as a fundamental pillar of democracy. Justice: Every decision we make is guided by the principles of equality and the rule of law. Ethics: We support the highest standards of judicial conduct and strengthen their integrity.

Our activities

We represent the interests of judges at the national and international levels. We organize educational activities to raise the professional level of members. We participate in discussions on reforms and modernization of the judicial system.
